Simply Fly-Captain Gopinath

Do you know who’s the person that started airplane service in India? Do you know who is Captain Gopinath?

Recently, I read autobiography of Captain Gopinath. The book name is Simply Fly- Captain Gopinath. It is an amazing book. Gopinath worked very hard and changed his profession many times. Let's take a look at his profession life:

  1. Indian Army man
  2. Poultry farmer
  3. Silkworm farmer
  4. Broker
  5. Motorcycle dealer
  6. Owner of the Udapi restaurant
  7. Politician
  8. Head of the private plane
  9. Deccan head

While I was reading this book, I felt very proud to be an Indian. This man struggled a lot and very well balanced his personal and professional lives. In childhood days, he gave UPSC exams in Kannada and he got selected in Army. In Army life, he learnt discipline, confidence, and courage. One day he realized that he should be back in his village and start farming. His father was a farmer so he knew how to do farming and when is the best time for farming. To improve his farming, he even went abroad to learn more tactics of farming to flourish more.

Whatever profession he choose he was never satisfied; he always wanted to start his own mega business. So, he started his own private plane with his army friend who was then in the Airforce. This great idea came in his mind and he got it started. He is very passionate person about his work. We can say- "Where there is will, there is a way".

He never ever gave excuses in life that I can't do it. In this book the best line which I like most is “If you really need something in life, you always work hard to achieve it ".

Luck is also important but how smartly you can work towards your dreams determine the Success.

I salute Captain Gopinath for his achievements!

My Life

I was a journalist in Tv Channel. I did many stories like International Stories, Soft stories, Entertainment Stories and Social issue based stories. It was a challenging job for me but i enjoyed alot and learned alot. It was really difficult to survive in Media. I am not blaming media, but for me it was difficult.

Now, I have shifted in IT field, working as an Instructional Designer. When i came in IT field i have seen lot of comforts as compare to media line. In a week with 2 days as holiday and office timings from 9-6 its really a cool job. I am enjoying to work in IT field but i miss my Media job also. For writing purpose IT field is good for me.
